Todd Beamer was degene bij Vlucht 93 die via de boordtelefoon aan een Verizon-telefoniste liet weten dat enkele passagiers de kapers zouden gaan overmeesteren. Zijn beroemde laatste woorden waren 'Let's Roll'. Vervolgens stortte Vlucht 93 neer in Pennsylvania.
Maar u weet: volgens complotters is Vlucht 93 helemaal niet neergestort in Pennsylvania en die Todd zal ook wel niet hebben bestaan. Of andere mogelijkheid: het vliegtuig is gewoon in de lucht opgeblazen. Vreemd trouwens dat dat door niemand gezien is.
Maar nu terug naar Todd: die werkte bij Oracle, de databasefabrikant uit Silicon Valley. En ja hoor, zet u maar schrap voor het nieuwste complot: "How difficult would it have been, one wonders, for members of the intelligence community to gain access to those (personnel) files, given that Oracle is little more than a thinly disguised CIA front led by a ‘former’ company man? And how difficult would it have been to use that information to create the basic outlines of a plausible phone call placed by Todd Beamer, complete with references to immediate family members? There would not be enough information, of course, to create a believable transcript, but certainly enough to create a reasonably convincing 'summary.' And that, as it turns out, was all that was needed."
De kromme logica van de complotdenker: Oracle zal wel weer een vooruitgeschoven post van de inlichtingendienst zijn. Per slot van rekening was een van de eerste klanten van Oracle, ergens in de jaren zeventig, de CIA! De rest kun je zelf wel invullen. Maar ja, complotters denken ook nog steeds dat Marvin Bush de beveiliging deed van het WTC.
Maar het verhaal wordt nog mooier: de telefoniste die Beamer sprak maakt zich sterk voor de Greater St. John's Bible Church, die weer banden heeft met de christelijke organisatie World Vision, die in de jaren zestig betrokken was bij geheime CIA operaties. "Now, maybe it’s just me, but when I scratch a little bit below the surface of a story and find the tentacles of both the Oracle Corp. and World Vision, I get a sense that there is some serious skullduggery afoot," schrijft onze Sherlock Holmes, Dave McGowan.

Tegelijkertijd is het vliegtuig verpulverd, in de grond opgenomen en geexplodeerd terwijl het gras naast de krater niet eens verbrand is. En dan is er natuurlijk nog de inmiddels legendarische rode bandana die deze verwoesting in nieuwstaat overleefde...
Hoe groot waren die vuurballen van de vliegtuigen die het WTC invlogen? Waar is de kerosine gebleven hier?
Waarom heeft de staart zo'n flauw afdrukje gemaakt en waar is deze gebleven? Opgestuiterd het bos in? Nee dat kan niet want de zwarte dozen zouden zijn gevonden op 15 en 25 voet diepte. Deze bevinden zich in de staart van het vliegtuig. Dan zou het hele vliegtuig in de grond moeten zitten. Vreemd dan toch dat een van de motoren honderden meters verderop werd gevonden.
De verbrande bomen liggen niet in lijn met de richting waarin het vliegtuig gecrasht zou zijn.
Volgens de 9/11 Commissie sprak Beamer trouwens de woorden 'roll it' en niet 'let's roll'. Jemig Billy, je kunt nog niet eens het officiele verhaal op orde krijgen. Heb je eigenlijk het 9/11 Commissie Rapport wel gelezen? Ik geloof er niets van.
Het lijkt er inderdaad op alsof je je stukje gewoon gecopy-paste worden van een andere (slecht geinformeerde) website.
Beetje zielig want je loopt tegelijkertijd te zeuren dat die 'complotdenkers' hun feiten niet op orde hebben. Je valt behoorlijk door de mand (alweer).

Hoezo DNA-probleem bij Flight 93? Je hoeft maar een haar of een nagel te vinden. Oktober 2001 waren er al 14 slachtoffers herkend. In december 40 passagiers aan de hand van 600 monsters.

Apart from the fact that the al-Qaida network seem to have a catastrophic way with lost property, isn't it strange that these most demonised and potent of terrorists seem unable to operate any weapons without a manual? Dad's Army is nothing - this bunch sounds as if they wouldn't be able to programme the video. Trouwens...begin augustus 2006 kwamen feiten over het optreden van het Pentagon, NORAD en FAA opnieuw wereldwijd in het nieuws. Tim Roemer, lid van de 911 Commission, vertelde de pers dat commissieleden vanaf het begin van het onderzoek zozeer gefrustreerd raakten door tegenstrijdige en valse verklaringen van Pentagon functionarissen dat serieus is overwogen om een strafonderzoek in te stellen. Momenteel lopen er twee onderzoeken, geleid door de inspecteurs-generaal van de ministeries van defensie en Transport. Die moeten nagaan of de commissie moedwillig is misleid. Voornaamste aanklacht betreft een eerste invulling van de tijdlijn (op 11 september) volgens NORAD en FAA functionarissen. Hoewel daarin werd aangegeven dat door betreffende organisaties alert is gereageerd, bleek na het beluisteren van bandopnamen dat de gekaapte toestellen geen moment in beeld zijn geweest. Flight 11 werd nog gezocht nadat het al geruime tijd in de noordtoren was gevlogen. Over Flight 93 (gecrasht: meldde NORAD dat het toestel werd gevolgd vanaf 9:16 AM, terwijl de commissie uit andere informatie kon afleiden dat het toestel pas 12 minuten later [9:28 AM] werd gekaapt en dat NORAD ook na die crash pas notie kreeg van het toestel.
Het neerhalen van vlucht 93 met een raket, 90 minuten na die eerste melding van een kaping bij NORAD, wordt weer iets waarschijnlijker na het horen van voormalig Minister van Defensie, Donald Rumsfeld, in een interview met Brigadier General James Marks, op 24 december 2004:
Rumsfeld: "I think all of us have a sense if we imagine the kind of world we would face if the people who bombed the mess hall in Mosul, or the people who did the bombing in Spain, or the people who attacked the United States in New York, shot down the plane over Pennsylvania and attacked the Pentagon, the people who cut off peoples' heads on television to intimidate, to frighten -- indeed the word 'terrorized' is just that. Its purpose is to terrorize, to alter behavior, to make people be something other than that which they want to be.
Slip of the tongue? Vragen blijven. Niettemin blijft het 'onvermogen' van NORAD om in een uur tijd niet één vlucht te onderscheppen ronduit verbijsterend. De militaire infrastructuur en hoge organisatiegraad in het betreffende gebied maken dit feit zo ongeloofwaardig dat hierover verantwoording moet worden afgelegd.
Zoals gezegd: NORAD onderschepte met succes 100% van 67 afgeweken toestellen of potentiële kapingen in het jaar voorafgaand aan 9/11. Telkens in minder dan 20 minuten tijd (Associated Press, 13/08/02).

Volgens mij zie je over het hoofd dat je tevens vergelijkingsmateriaal nodig hebt van ieder slachtoffer.
Immers heb je zonder dat vergelijkend DNA materiaal niets aan DNA van de crashsite om iemand te identificeren.
En wie beweert nu weer dat er geen vergelijkingsmateriaal was? Dat hebben de familieleden toch aangedragen? Broer/zus, ouders/kinderen/kleinkinderen, die relaties zijn via DNA makkelijk aan te tonen.

It appears as though by that Thursday, September 13, 2001, a decision had been made to scrap the shoot-down story and to instead go with a much better story that had been handed to the conspirators on a silver platter – the heroic story of ‘the flight that fought back.’ Instead of casting U.S. fighter pilots as heroes, ordinary Americans would become the heroes. All that was necessary was ensuring that the real ending of the story remain hidden from view. But there was one small problem: the powers-that-be did not have control over the passenger revolt story, which was being told independently by various surviving relatives, oftentimes with details that the conspirators found unpleasant. The solution? Gain control of the story by creating their own hero and insuring that he would thereafter take center stage, quickly eclipsing all those who were initially identified as probable heroes.
And so was born the legend of Todd “Let’s Roll” Beamer. As a few reporters have gently pointed out, Beamer was not the most likely candidate, physically or otherwise, to lead a passenger revolt. Not as likely as, say, Jeremy Glick, reportedly a 220-pound, 6’1” former national judo champion. Or Mark Bingham, a 6’5” former champion rugby player. Or Tom Burnett, a natural leader and former college football quarterback. Or Louis Nacke, a powerfully built, 200-pound weightlifter. Or CeeCee Lyles, a street-smart former police detective. Or Richard Guadagno, an enforcement officer who had received training in hand-to-hand combat. Or Alan Beaven, a 6’3” rock climber. Or William Cashman, a former paratrooper with the fabled 101st Airborne.
Why then Todd Beamer? The most likely answer is that Beamer had something that none of the other passengers had: a personnel file at the Oracle Corporation – as did his wife, Lisa, since, as one reporter noted, “both [Lisa and Todd] took jobs at Oracle before starting a family.” (Jim McKinnon “The Phone Line from Flight 93 Was Still Open When a GTE Operator Heard Todd Beamer Say: Are You Guys Ready? The answer then to the question posed by Lisa Beamer (in her book, “Let’s Roll”) – “How did Larry know that?” – is likely that Mr. Ellison was tipped off when someone contacted him sometime between September 11 and September 13, 2001 seeking information on Todd Beamer’s background and family history. Having acquired that information, a phone call supposedly placed by a doomed Todd Beamer was then fabricated. The alleged details of that purported call were revealed to the world over the weekend of September 15-16. Just four days later, on September 20, 2001, Lisa Beamer stood proudly in attendance as George W. Bush, after singling out Todd Beamer for praise, proclaimed the necessity of embarking on a campaign of endless war. At a later date, the same Lisa Beamer would be photographed unveiling a decal of the “Let’s Roll” catchphrase on the side of an F-16 fighter jet, an airplane not unlike the one that almost certainly blew her husband’s plane out of the sky.

Saddam opgehangen
Door het stupide optreden van de Amerikaanse regering zijn het proces tegen en de dood van Saddam Hoessein geen overwinning voor het recht geworden. De beelden zijn duidelijk: zonder een krimp te geven laat Saddam zich ongemaskerd de strop omleggen, terwijl rondom hem gemaskerde beulen zenuwachtig heen en weer lopen en niet precies lijken te weten wat ze moeten doen. Saddam beheerst als enige de situatie. Dat is de boodschap die in onze moderne beeldcultuur uit de wereldwijd uitgezonden beelden spreekt en zo zal het in de islamitische- en derde wereld gezien worden. Dit kan voor de betrokken autoriteiten wel eens 'a public relations disaster' worden, zo hoorde ik een westerse commentator bij de BBC World Service terecht zeggen.

Voorzitter van de officiële onderzoekscommissie Dana Rohrabacher, is er van overtuigt dat de aanslag op de J. Edgar Hoover Building in Oklahoma het resultaat van een complot is. Hij heeft ontdekt dat er een link is tussen de WTC aanslag uit 1993 en de aanslag in Oklahoma uit 1995. Voorts heeft hij het gevoel dat de overheid de zaak in de doofpot probeert te stoppen. Ook rond de Oklahoma aanslag, hangt de geur van de geheime diensten.
